These photos were taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the fall of 2008 during the day and night of the second last game of the 2008 World Series. The “Phillies”, Philadelphia’s baseball team won the game of the evening and went on to win the final game and hence the World Series that year. During that time, Barack Obama was running for president. The photo, “Obama for President”, depicts the Philadelphia Democratic Party HQ. The photo, “Walnut Hotel” is a view overlooking Walnut street from the Hyatt at The Bellevue Hotel located on Broad and Walnut. The photo, “The Idiot Box”, depicts fans watching the last moments of the fateful game on the hotel bar television.
